The Team

An integral part of this study is involving the residents, business owners and stakeholders in the County. Your involvement in the planning process will provide the team with valuable information and a "hometown" perspective.  You are an important part of the study team!

The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) is leading this study with assistance from a team led by BRW, Incorporated. BRW is a multidisciplinary consulting firm with offices throughout the US, including Hurricane, West Virginia.

Their staff has expertise in all aspects of transportation planning—ranging from roadway analysis and design, traffic circulation and computer modeling applications to bridge design, transit facilities planning and environmental impact evaluation.

Mary Means & Associates, Inc. (MMA) of Alexandria, Virginia will provide community engagement support to the process. MMA is known for having pioneered the application of group processes, media and communication as effective interactive vehicles to encourage public involvement in complex, sometimes controversial, transportation planning processes.
